10 Free Case BadgesCannot be combined with another discount offer. We're looking for good quality, popular images to produce case badges. If you're artistic and have image(s) or photos that you think may be popular as case badges, please submit it to us for consideration. If we decide to use it, we'll mail you 10 of the case badges for free! A $50 value (including shipping). We'll inform you of our decision whether to use this image or not once we receive the image file. This is the best way for individuals to get small quantities of case badges of their own design. There are two ways for you to submit your work: (1) Add it to our Forum. (2) Send us the file via e-mail (size may be limited to 1MB). Requirements: (1) Send images in jpg or gif files. (2) The optimal file size is 600x600 pixels. The optimal image resolution is 600 dpi. Typically, the higher the resolution/size the better. (Note: Please post images with the width smaller than 450 pixels on the forum). Rules: (1) You promise that the image or photo belongs to you and you will be responsible for any copyright infringement claims. (2) Once Directron.com decides to use it, Directron.com owns the copyright for the image and you promise that you would not submit the image file elsewhere for the purpose of producing case badges. Once submitted, Directron.com has the right to change, modify or alter the image for production purposes without notice. (3) No offensive images please. (4) The image should be generic in nature and popular among most PC users. Images that would not draw popular demand will not be accepted. (5) No order is necessary! (6) The production process may take 2-3 weeks. Expect 2-4 weeks before you can receive your free badges. (7) Post your questions about this program in our forum or email us. (8) You can send as many images as possible. If more than one badge is accepted, we'll send you 10 free badges for each. (9) We'll acknowledge your contribution by publishing your name with the badge design. You are also eligible for purchasing the badge you contributed from us at half of the normal, full price. (10) As an alternative, we'll issue $15 store credit for each accepted badge design instead of the 10 free badges. Ideas: (1) Tribal arts. (2) Pictures of your pets. (3) Cartoon characters. Yes, these badges also work on your IBM, Compaq, Dell, or Gateway cases! Specs: Aluminum backing with 3M adhesive. Clear, bubble-domed design. High-quality. Scratch-resistant top surface made of Lexan. Lexan is a polycarbonate plastic, the same material used for bullet-proof glass. 1x1 inch. 1" wide and 1" high. 1/8" deep. Fits most computer cases. Notes: (1) Choose the background color carefully. Consider matching the case colors such as beige, black, silver, teal blue, etc. (2) Use shaded or embossed text if possible for the 3D appearance. (3) Not all images are appropriate for case badge designs. 1x1 is a small size. The features and text sizes should be large to make it easier to read. We suggest to re-size your image to roughly 1x1 size to see the effect (but send in the larger pictures).
