One drive to burn CDs and DVDs and finish with professional quality labels. Now it reads and writes to dual layer DVD-R and double layer DVD+R media and features LightScribe technology, enabling you to create professional quality DVD and CD labels. With the ThinkCentre and Lenovo Super Multi-Burner Drive you can archive and access data, video, photo and music files on high capacity DVDs or inexpensive CDs.Features: LightScribe technology enables you to create professional quality DVD and CD labels. Design unique laser-etched labels using your own photos, artwork and text. After you burn the content, just flip the LightScribe compatible disc over and burn your label. Now it reads and writes to double layer DVD+R and dual layer DVD-R media in addition to reading and writing to CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, and DVD-RAM media to provide you with more format choices. Stores up to 9.4GB per double-sided DVD-RAM disc, up to 8.5GB on single sided dual layer DVD-R media and double layer DVD+R media, 4.7GB on other DVD discs, or up to 700MB on a CD disc, based on media used. Faster writing speeds (1) to CD-RW and DVD media compared to the previous Multi-Burner Drive offerings: Burn to CD-R media at maximum speeds of 40X (6.0 -2.4 MB/Sec ).
