The Model 4370 package includes a hard bundle of the Zoom Model 4360 iHiFi Receiver together with the Zoom Model 4350 iHiFi Transmitter for the iPod mini. The iHiFi Transmitter and Receiver play digital music from an iPod mini through a home audio system or powered speakers using Bluetooth wireless transmission.
The bundled Transmitter plugs directly into an iPod mini, is powered by the iPod Mini internal battery, and is a natural extension of the iPod mini. The model 4350 will transmit audio from an iPod mini to a Zoom iHiFi receiver or to Bluetooth headsets supporting the A2DP Bluetooth profile with Bluetooth pairings of 1234 or 0000.
The bundled Model 4360 Receiver plugs into either a 3.5mm (1/8") stereo jack or RCA phono plugs on the audio amplification system. The Receiver works in conjunction with Zoom iHiFi transmitters, Bluetooth adapters and other Bluetooth audio transmission devices that support the A2DP Bluetooth profile and provide support for Bluetooth pairings of 1234, or 0000. The Receiver is a Class 1 Bluetooth device with a range of up to 330 feet when used with a Class 1 Bluetooth adapter, and a range of up to 70 feet when used with iHiFi adapters or Class 2 Bluetooth adapters. Bluetooth is a digital transmission technology and is far less subject to interference and static than FM receivers. Bluetooth signals also have a greater ability to penetrate, floors, walls and doors.
