PAPST 12cm Quiet Case FanPapst 12CM Case Fans - DC Axial 4400F Series. Model 4412 FGL. The quietest in the industry - only 26db(A) with the sintered sleeve bearings technology. Made in Germany by EBM Industries. Axial fans: Air flow is conducted parallel to the axis of rotation.The blower wheel in axial fans is similar to the propeller of an airplane. Airflow is conducted to a great extent, parallel to the axis of rotation or in other words the axial direction. Axial fans have the best airflow and power consumption when used in a equalized air pressure configuration. Power consumption rises as counter pressure is increased. Axial case fans have an external housing and have the motor integrated into the blower wheel hub. This compact design is space-saving and allows them to be used in a wide range of applications.
