Panaflo 60mm Ultra Quiet Fan
Panaflo axial fans, made by Panasonic, suit a wide range of applications. They force air out in a "funnel" type pattern, and are ideal when cooling a specific area such as a power supply that is surrounded by numerous components with minimum ventilation available. Panaflo Part No. FBA06A12L1A.
Panaflo L1A series of case fans are highly rated for their high air flow, while using less power and less noise than the competition. Panaflos are the best computer case fans you can buy. Utilizing the new Hydro-Wave bearing technology, the Panaflo L1A series produces stellar CFM (cubic feet per minute), while being some of the quietest fans on the market.
Main Applications: Cooling of power supplies in office automation equipment (computers, plain paper copiers, laser beam printers, network servers, UPS systems). Medical instrumentation (blood sampling machines, heart monitoring equipment, intensive care equipment, x-ray equipment). Communication equipment (telephones, base station radios, RF transmitters). Ventilation and cooling of home appliances.
Specs: Physical dimensions: 60x60x25mm, 6x6cm. Input power: 1.32 Watts. Max. air flow: 12 CFM. Max. noise: 24 dB-A. Max. air pressure: 3.1 mmH2O. Operating voltage (V, dc): 12V (7-13.8V range). Two wire connector (no RPM sensing, the third wire).
Options: This fan comes with bare wires / leads, without dc power connectors (as shown in picture). This allows easy connection to devices such as FanBus and BayBus. The molex connector is optional for $2.00. The molex connector allows you to connect this fan easily to a motherboard 3-pin connector.
Notes: (1) How to build a quiet PC. (2) How to connect the bare wires to a Molex connector? Have the fins (for locking the Molex to the mobo) facing up and away from you. The black cable should go to the right hand (outer) connector, and the red one should go to the middle.
