PAPST 6cm Case Fans The blower wheel in axial fans is similar to the propeller of an airplane. Airflow is conducted to a great extent, parallel to the axis of rotation or in other words the axial direction. Axial fans have the best airflow and power consumtion when used in a equalized air pressure configuration. Power consumtion rises as counter pressure is increased.
Axial case fans have an external housing and have the motor integrated into the blower wheel hub. This compact design is space-saving and allows them to be used in a wide range of applications. All case fans should have appropriate mounting holes.
Features: DC fans with electronically commutated external rotor motor. Fully integrated commutation electronics. With electronic protection against reverse polarity, blocking and overloading; Fan of fiberglass reinforced plastic. PBTP housing, PA impeller. Air exhaust over struts. Rotational direction CCW looking at rotor. Electrical connection via leads AWG 24, TR 64. Stripped and tinned ends. Mass 85g. Temperature sensor (NTC-resistor) for controlling the motor speed is positioned directly in the air flow.
Specifications: Series 600N. 60 x 60 x 25mm VARIOFAN. Under 30oC: Air flow: 18m3h; 10.6CFM. Nominal Voltage: 12 V DC. Voltage range: 8...12 V DC. Power Input: 1.3 Watt. Nominal speed: 2150 min-1. Under 55oC: Air flow: 35m3h; 20.6CFM. Nominal Voltage: 12 V DC. Voltage range: 8...12.6 V DC. Noise: 28db(A). 4.6bels. Power Input: 1.7 Watt. Nominal speed: 4100 min-1. Temperature rang: -20 ... +65 oC.
Options: This fan comes with bare wires / leads, without dc power connectors (as shown in picture). This allows easy connection to devices such as FanBus. The molex connector is optional for $5.00. The molex connector allows you to connect this fan easily to a motherboard 3-pin connector.
