Part Number: CTR-3ware-7506-8
3ware Escalade Parallel ATA RAID Controllers, ATA133, 7506-8
Fulfilling Customer Requirements with Performance and Scalability
The Escalade 7506 series delivers advanced storage technology and industry leading performance in cost-effective ATA solutions. The 2, 4, 8 and 12 port Escalade 7506 controllers boast a PCI 66MHz custom ASIC that combines an integrated RISC processor, PCI bridge and XOR RAID engine.
Supporting up to 3.6TB of storage per controller (dependent on drive capacity, 2TB per array maximum.) , 3ware offers the only 12 and 8 port ATA RAID controllers available on the market today. These controllers fit the bill with applications where high levels of sustained read and writes are required, such as enterprise storage, NAS/SAN, web servers, near-line backup and archival, and streaming video.
High-density servers, departmental file and email servers and video editing workstations will all benefit from the performance and reliability of the Escalade 7506-4LP, a 4-port low-profile ATA RAID controller.
