This technology determines your identity based on who you are (your fingerprint) not just what you know (a password). All data within the Pro system is centrally managed and stored using Active Directory tools, providing a scalable solution for organizations large and small. It easily and quickly integrates into Microsoft Windows-based networks by leveraging existing Windows infrastructure and security conventions. These complete solutions add up to high security available for protecting sensitive information online and within corporate networks. It includes DigitalPersona Pro AD Workstation software, U.are.U Fingerprint Reader.DigitalPersona Pro Workstation Software: DigitalPersona Pro for Active Directory Workstation software supports the DigitalPersona U.are.U Fingerprint Reader and Keyboard as well as a variety of notebook computers with embedded fingerprint swipe readers. DigitalPersona Pro software includes the following applications: U.are.U Fingerprint Reader: Easy to install and use; the elimination of passwords starts here. The U.are.U 4000B Reader* is a USB fingerprint reader designed for use with DigitalPersona business or developer software. A user simply places a finger on the reader window, and the reader quickly and automatically captures and encrypts the fingerprint image before sending it to the DigitalPersona IDentity Engine for verification. DigitalPersona products utilize optical fingerprint scanning technology for superior image quality and product reliability. The combination of a U.are.U 4000B Fingerprint Reader with the DigitalPersona IDentity Engine produces an unmatched ability to recognize even the most difficult fingerprints.
