Logitech USB Desktop Microphone, Model: 980186-0403.WEBMASTER's Review: I have this very item which I bought for my custom DVD project. I never had a USB microphone previously and I jumped at one just to see what new technology can offer. I was amazed by the quality and ease of use. I plugged this microphone to my Win XP and was able to use it right away. The main feature is the clarity, out of mainstream microphones this one is perfect for voice recording and narration, the microphone features built-in noise cancellation technology. The convenience is unsurpassed with on/off button that lights green during "on" operation. Hook up is easy too. No need to run it from the back of the case being restricted by the cable length, simply plug it into any USB port on your monitor, keyboard or hub - versatile. Don't be bent behind a case looking for the right microphone port, with USB solution the setup becomes so easy! The signal is no longer degraded through the analog cable, now it is sent through USB in digital format to the computer and sound quality is preserved, does not matter how long the cable is. The base is heavy enough not to let the microphone accidentally be tipped over, it stands firmly on the table. Silver & black theme is a match for most LCDs and keyboards, the microphone will not look odd on the table.
