System Requirements: - Computer and processor: - 500 megahertz (MHz) processor or higher. - Memory: 256 megabyte (MB) RAM or higher. - Hard disk: 2 gigabyte (GB); a portion of this disk space will be freed after installation if the original download package is removed from the hard drive. - Drive: CD-ROM or DVD drive. - Display: 1024x768 or higher resolution monitor. Other: - Certain inking features require running Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition or later. Speech recognition functionality requires a close-talk microphone and audio output device. Information Rights Management features require access to a Windows 2003 Server with SP1 or later running Windows Rights Management Services. - Connectivity to Microsoft Exchange Server 2000 or later is required for certain advanced functionality in Outlook 2007. Instant Search requires Microsoft Windows Desktop Search 3.0. Dynamic Calendars require server connectivity. - Connectivity to Microsoft Windows Server 2003 with SP1 or later running Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services is required for certain advanced collaboration functionality. Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 is required for certain advanced functionality. PowerPoint Slide Library requires Office SharePoint Server 2007. To share data among multiple computers, the host computer must be running - Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows XP Professional with SP2, or later. - Internet Explorer 6.0 or later, 32 bit browser only. (2) This product REQUIRES the Office OPK (Pre-Installation Kit) sku # OEMOFF2K7OPK1PK. The Office OPK includes media that assists system builders in setting up a single OEM Office image that may then be pre-installed on each and every PC that the system builders sell and deliver. (3) Single of Office Small Business Edition 2007 MLK (Media Less Kit) with DVD case (NO disk) and one COA (License Key). The DVD case has no disks in it; it contains a liner that has the OEM Office Product ID number (PID) and a URL where they may request free replacement media, if they wish it. The only way to get end-user media is to request it after purchasing the license in this manner. (4) The previous Office 2007 OEM Pre-installation Kit (OPK) was been discontinued and replaced with a new Microsoft part number. We will not be stocking this part due to the price, but if you are interested in the revised OPK, please let your salesperson know, and we'll order some in. (5) This part number/price change will create an issue with some resellers, and Microsoft is offering a solution of sorts: they can order up to three (3) OPK kits for free from the link below. After they have their three free copies, they are directed back into the channel to purchase the new OPK kit from distribution.
