Such a claim must be made within 7 calendar days! No exceptions. The claim will be valid only for unused and untested CPUs! Directron.com is not responsible for any physical damage to your CPU once you test or use your CPU.
Do not test or use your CPU if you believe there is physical damage. Any physical damage by the user/customer will void the warranty. Warranty covers only manufacturer defects, not any physical damage caused by the user.
Any CPUs returned after 7 days with physical damage will NOT be warranted or replaced. Directron.com is NOT responsible for any physical damage to your CPU when it is shipped back to us.
Tips on how to avoid physical damage to AMD CPUs: Follow the exact instructions for applying the thermal compound and mounting the heat sink/fan (HSF). Heavy HSFs have a higher possibility to damage your CPU during mounting.
Again, Directron.com is not responsible for any physical damage to your CPU once you put it in use or test. You are responsible for any returned CPUs with physical damage unless the CPU has NOT been used or tested by you AND you filed a damage report online within 7 days!
