AMD Approved Enhance 300W PS for Athlon

These are 300W ATX power supplies approved by AMD for Athlon systems as shown on AMD's web site. Please note that the price of each model may be different. In case of shortage, we may substitute any model with more expensive one, but not the other way around. We use Enhance, HEC, CWT brands interchangeably for this item.

Enhance Electronics ATX-730 (sometimes marked as Fong Kai or HP). Approved for Athlon 600-1000MHz (1GHz). Specifications: +3.3V (20A), +5V(30A), +12V(10A), -12V(0.8A), -5V(0.5A), and +5Vsb(1.0A). 5 IDE and 2 floppy power connectors. Net Weight: 3.2lb. We use the net weight as a crude measure of the quality of a power supply - the heavier the better of the same wattage and type.
HEC 300AR Approved for Athlon 600-1330MHz (1.33GB). Specifications: +3.3V (20A), +5V(30A), +12V(10A), -12V(0.8A), -5V(0.5A), and +5Vsb(1.0A). 5 IDE and 2 floppy power connectors. Net Weight: 3.2lb. Model CWT-300ATX by Channel Well Technology Co. (also marketed by American Media Systems, Ever Power and Pro-V), $39. Specifications: +3.3V(14A); +5V(30A); +12V(8A); -12V(0.5A); -5V(0.5A); +5Vsb(1.5A). Rated for Athlon 600-1000MHz (1GHz). 7 IDE power connectors and 2 floppy connectors. CWT makes power supplies for Antec. Net weight: 3.2lb.

Compatibility: Yes, the AMD approved power supplies will also work with most other ATX-form factor, IBM-compatible systems, motherboards, and cases.
