If you wish to save on shipping costs, we recommend ordering the system without assembly and then shipping the kit via UPS Ground. 3) About Performance: If you have used a netbook like a Acer Aspire One then you should have a rough idea of what to expect from the FA-2. The biggest between the desktop Directron FA-2 and an average netbook is that netbooks use a Atom N270 single core CPU normally. This PC uses a Dual Core 330 Atom instead of a single core N270. The dual core nature of the CPU means it's going to be more responsive doing everyday tasks than the average netbook plus it has double the ram of the average netbook as well. They key with this design is low power usage and very tiny. If you want a powerful machine at this price point consider something like this instead. |
