BayBus, External Switch BoardFront 5.25" bay mounted switch board allows external control of on and off of internal case fans. Four switches to control up to four fans. These baybuses have been tested with fans up to 120mm in size and with light kits.Features: Printed circuit board eliminates wiring mess. Simple installation requires only drilling, then plug in and go. Drill template ensures holes are placed correctly. Long lead for power supply included, as well as extra molex connector so that you don't lose a power outlet. Control any device with the switches (up to 6W per switch). Specs: Each switch has three settings: "ON", "OFF" and "Variable speed". The variable speed setting can be adjusted to whatever speed you prefer, making it perfect for fans up to 120mm. The LED lights are Red and Green and come with Black bezels. In order to ensure that you could attach ANY device to this we outfitted it to use bare wire leads. If your case fans come already with 3-pin or 4-pin connectors, you'll have to cut the connectors off and expose the bare wire to connect them to the BayBus. Installation: Some installation work is required to use this kit, although it's simple and quick. You must drill a few holes in your 5 1/4 inch faceplate. Drilling equipment is not included. The kit comes with a back plate to be mounted on any 5.25" faceplate of your choice. The faceplate itself is not included. Since the faceplate designs are different from one brand to the other, they're not included in this product. You must supply your own faceplate to match your case. (2) An instruction sheet is included. (3) This kit works with a 4-pin power connector. An extra 4-pin pass-thru connector is included so that you don't lose one IDE connector from your power supply. (3) Consider using DigitalDoc5 - a digital controller and temperature sensor for case fans and more. (4) We now offer a service to mount the baybus for you for only $18.00. We'll mount it on the top bay. You can change it easily later if you want. (5) You must purchase the case separately. (6) The thickness of a bay cover varies from one case to the other. It will be difficult to mount the switches if the bay cover is too thick. We do not guarantee that this device will fit in all cases. We do know it fits to most of the cases.
