Used 64MB SDRAM, PC100MHz64MB, 168-pin DIMM SDRAM system memory module, certified PC100MHz, 8NS, 168pin. Name-brand chipset only. OEM.Compatibility: Standard memory modules work with most new motherboards including Intel, Asus, Abit, SuperMicro, EPoX, PCChips, BioStar, MicoStar, QDI, FIC, Tyan, Acer, Tekram and SOYO. Also works in some branded systems including Compaq, Dell, IBM, Gateway, Packard-Bell, HP, NEC, AST, Acer, eMachines, Sony, CompUSA, and CTX. However, they may or may not work in some proprietary models from Compaq, IBM, or Dell. In this case, please contact us, we can find the right piece of memory for your proprietary system. We deal with several big after market memory makers that make memory specific to these kinds of systems. Consult your system manual of manufacturer's web site to ensure compatibility before purchasing. Notes: (1) PC-100MHz memory is back-compatible and will work on a 66MHz system bus. But a 66MHz memory module will NOT work on a 100MHz bus! (2) No, this module will not work on a 133MHz bus. More Notes: (1) How to recognize SDRAM DIMM? Physical length: 5.25". 168 Double-sided metal pins (golden or silver). Most 32MB SDRAM modules have eight chips and are single sided. Occasionally you may come across double sided with four chips on each side. Most 64MB modules have 16 chips and are double sided (8 chips on each side). Most 128MB modules have eight chips and are single sided. (2) Standard desk-top memory modules are non-ECC (error correction), non-registered, and non-buffered memory modules. ECC and registered memory modules are normally for servers that require these features and are more expensive. (3) Yes, you can mix SDRAM modules of different sizes on the same motherboard for upgrade purposes.
