Ruth Maynie- By Ruth Maynie Like a shift in the wind I knew that something Was wrong within The blank stare The repetitive line "Please check me, please help me" My best friend crashed With a heavy bang She exhaled heavy black smoke As her head exploded in flames She stumbled, she stuttered She choked as her life escaped her heart I tried; I sought all the help I could find It was useless No one was advanced enough to save her in time My eyes teared as I buried her in the dirt I could blame myself, but I don't I blame her brand She was sweet, yes Choruses rang when I pressed the right button She tried hard not to pause for hours When I tried out CD-ROM's She would shut down completely When I did something she didn't appreciate She took a few blows to the head When she acted like a child with A.D.D.
