This external RAID storage system combines two SATA hard disks up to 750 gigabyte (GB) each for a massive 1.5 terabyte (TB) of storage in JBOD mode. The two hard drives can be of different sizes so you do not waste older smaller hard drives. Need to access your data in a hurry? The built-in hardware RAID controller can be configured RAID 0 for increased data transfer rate. For a reliable and quiet operation, we put in a large 6cm smart fan right behind the drives so you do not have worry about excess heat or noise.
