Push Lock Fan FastenersThese affordable Plastic Fan Fasteners make installing case fans or fan grills a breeze! Long used by popular OEM builders like Dell, Compaq, Gateway, and HP these fasteners reduce install time by up to 50%. In addition to time savings, plastic fan fasteners do not transmit vibration nearly as much as steel fan screws.Note: (1) One down side to these types of connectors is that they can wear out after repeated use. We feel that this is somewhat better than the alternative though (fan screws) because with fan screws, you are eating into the plastic of the fan. Over time you strip the holes on the fan with fan screws when you do multiple installs / uninstalls of the fan. With these, you just wear out the lock mechanism w/o damage to the fan. The fasteners are especially well suited to fan grills as the fan grills are seldom removed. A penny on the picture is not included with this item.
