And please access our official download site to check out the latest driver for our products http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us - Related Model: | WL-100W | WL-167g | WL-100 | WL-100g | WL-100g Deluxe | WL-100gE | WL-103B | WL-106gM | WL-107 | WL-107g | WL-110 | WL-130 | WL-130N | WL-138g | WL-138gE | WL-138gV2 | WL-160g | WL-160N | WL-160W | WL-161 | WL-169gE How to modify MAC address of WL-330gE under Adapter mode? -Answer-:You can modify MAC address under Adapter mode by following steps: 1.Enter Advanced Setting page, System Setup->Operation Mode, choose Operation Mode as Home Gateway; 2.Enter Advanced Setting page, Wireless->Advanced, choose Mode as Adapter; 3.In Quick Setup page, Current Mode will display Gateway-Adapter; 4.Enter Advanced Setting page, IP Config->WAN&LAN, fill in desired wireless MAC address in MAC Address field. Attention: The MAC address filled should not be same as LAN PC’s. That is, you need to change LAN PC's MAC address after copying it to WL-330gE configuration interface. This method is not really MAC cloning but allowing users to modify the MAC address sent out by the device. - Related Model: WL-330gE In repeater mode, repeater's SSID is the same as the one of upper AP. How can I distinguish between them? -Answer-:You can configure an individual SSID for repeater(WL-330gE) to distinguish between the repeater and AP. Please follow the steps as below: 1.Enter the configuration page of WL-330gE. 2.The menu page will pop-up, and please click the "Advanced Setting". 
3.Please click wireless and enter the Advanced page, you should select "Yes" to enable Individual Wireless Setting. 
Now you can input a SSID for repeater and distinguish between repeater and upper AP. - Related Model:WL-330gE Does a router use the same MAC address for both LAN port and WAN port? - Answer: Yes, we use the same MAC address for both LAN and WAN port. But when I set the router to WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK and AES encryption, I can't connect to the router any more. I can search the SSID of the router. But after input the pre-share key correctly, my PC still can't connect to the wireless network. - Answer: If you specify the wireless encryption to AES on the router, which means the router will work under WPA2-PSK since WPA-PSK cannot support AES encryption. But for WindowsXP, there is a patch to make the OS support WPA2 better. Please be note that no any setting change made on the router. When you have enabled Afterburner and wish to increase the speed, please turn off the WMM option on the router or AP, because when you enable both functions, WMM will take effect first due to its higher priority. - Related Model: | WL-330gE | WL-500W | WL-500GPREMV2 | |
