Which wheels do GT4 support?
Special Note for those using the Logitech NASCAR Racing or Logitech Racing wheel:
Can I use a USB hub to plug in my wheel(s)?
How do I enable the wheel for a single player game?
How do I enable two wheels for a multiplayer game?
How can I disable 900 degree mode if I am using a Logitech Driving Force Pro?
I have my wheel plugged in, but the buttons are not doing anything. Why?
Which wheels do GT4 support?
GT4 supports the Logitech Driving Force and Driving Force Pro. The older Driving Force is a single-turn (200 degree) wheel and the Driving Force Pro automatically enables multi-turn mode (900 degree mode.) This game does not support the Logitech GT Force.
Special Note for those using the Logitech NASCAR Racing or Logitech Racing wheel:
Since this wheel plugs into the game port and not the USB port, it is not considered a 'wheel' the same way the other Logitech wheels are. It is actually seen by the game as a game pad. Therefore, the steps in this document do not apply. You will need to configure the NASCAR Racing wheel as you would a standard game pad style controller.
Can I use a USB hub to plug in my wheel(s)?
Yes, you can use a hub, but only for one player. If you try to plug two wheels into the hub, one wheel will be disabled. (Essentially, a USB hub would only work as an extension for your one wheel.)
How do I enable the wheel for a single player game?
Plug the wheel into the top USB port. When the game starts up, the wheel will auto-calibrate. Although the wheel will also calibrate if you plug it into the bottom USB port, it will not be enabled. You must use the top USB port for Player 1.
How do I enable two wheels for a multiplayer game?
Plug Player 1's wheel into the top USB port, and plug Player 2's wheel into the bottom USB port. You cannot use a hub to plug both wheels into.
How can I disable 900 degree mode if I am using a Logitech Driving Force Pro?
Unfortunately, you cannot disable the 900 degree mode.
I have my wheel plugged in, but the buttons are not doing anything. Why?
You may have the wheel plugged into the wrong USB port. Unplug your wheel and replug it into the other port. If you are playing with two wheels, make sure they are plugged into different ports on the PS2. Lastly, only Player 1 will be able to navigate the main menus. (source Logitech)
