Connections Flat Screen Work CentersThe Connections Flat Screen Work Centers were specifically designed to accommodate a flat screen computer monitor. These tables are great for classroom use since the monitors are slightly recessed allowing students to see the teacher at the front of the room.Features: When space is an issue choose a 24" deep work surface which requires less room, allowing five rows of tables to fit in a space that would hold four 30" deep tables. Choose a 30" deep work surface when using larger equipment and more space is required on the monitor shelf. A separate work surface for the flat screen monitor allows you to adjust the height to best suit your needs. The monitor work surface on 24"D tables measures 9-1/2"D and on 30"D tables 15-1/2"D. The monitor work surface adjusts in height from 23- 31" in 1" increments allowing for the monitor to be lowered below the keyboard work surface. The keyboard work surface, which measures 13"D, is adjustable from 24-32" in 1" increments so the keyboard can be set at the perfect typing height. A CPU holder comes with each work center and is adjustable to hold CPU's measuring 6-1/2"-11"W x 17"D and no taller than 19". The 72"W unit includes two CPU holders which may be attached in the middle of the table or on the ends. The Flat Panel Work Centers are available in 36" (one computer) and 72" widths (two computers.) Work surfaces are constructed of 1" thick, grey mist covered melamine with Quartz grey PVC trim (other trim colors also available including Cardinal red, Polo green and Topaz blue). Laminate substrait consists of 70% recycled content. Bases are constructed of 14-gauge steel tubing which consists of 30% post-consumer recycled content and finished in an environmentally friendly grey powder paint which withstands years of use. Tables include adjustable leveling glides. A perforated cord management bin also acts as a modesty panel which runs the entire width of the table under the monitor work surface. A metal stiffener is located under the keyboard work surface. All connections on the table are metal to metal. Two integrated security points are built into the table allowing for the use of a security device to secure your monitor to the table. Specifications: Keyboard work surface is height adjustable from 24-32" in 1" increments. The monitor work surface is height adjustable from 23-31". The width is 36"w or 72"w depending on the model. Table tops are constructed from 1" thick laminate particle board, 45 pound density. The modesty panel/cord management bin is made from 18-gauge steel. It runs the width of the table. Table frame is constructed of 14- gauge steel tubing. The upright panel is welded to 14-gauge steel tube top support. The CPU Harness is constructed from steel and mounts under the table work surface. All steel parts are constructed with "prime" steel which has a 25% to 35% post-consumer recycled content. Laminate substrait consists of an average 70% post-consumer recycled content. 36"w unit comes with one CPU Holder except the 72"w models which come with two. CPU Holder measures 6-1/2"-11-1/4"w x 20-3/8"h, Models are finished in an environmentally friendly Grey Mist powder paint, and ship ready to assemble.
