NETGEAR's FVS318v3 ProSafe VPN Firewall 8 is ideal for companies who prefer one simple device to perform several critical functions. The FVS318v3 provides business-class protection at an affordable price and fits into any size corporate network infrastructure. This completely equipped, broadband-capable firewall 8 Port Ethernet router offers a Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) firewall, Denial of Service (DoS) protection and Intrusion Detection, URL key word and content filtering, logging, reporting, and real-time alerts. VPNC certified, it initiates up to 8 IPSec VPN tunnels, also called security associations, simultaneously, reducing your operating costs and maximizing the security of your network. The intuitive web-based VPN wizard with smart defaults gives you more time to focus on your business. With 8 10/100 auto-sensing, Auto Uplink LAN ports and Network Address Translation (NAT) routing, up to 253 users can access your broadband connection at the same time. This compact, multifunctional firewall is an ideal solution for users needing to securely access corporate networks via a remote VPN connection.Features: Initiates up to 8 IPSec VPN tunnels simultaneously. Stateful Packet Inspection Firewall with VPN pass-through and routing. Easy-to-use Web browser-based setup, configuration and remote management.
