Testers are being hired on a part-time basis for six weeks beginning in mid-October through the end of November, during which time they're to play and evaluate a new fighting game of an unspecified nature at SNK's Osaka office. There are a few existing possibilities as far as what game that might be -- the new AtomiswaveKing of Fighters, perhaps, or the next Neo Geo game in that same series. Or it could, of course, be another entirely new game. We'll keep an eye out for further details later in the year. Noteworthy additions to the RTS title include Katey Sagal (8 Simple Rules For Dating my Teenage Daughter, Futurama, Married With Children), Dwight Schultz (The A-Team, Final Fantasy X), and John Rhys-Davies (Raiders of the Lost Ark, Last Crusade, some Lord of the Rings thing). The remainder of the cast includes: Fairuza Balk (American History X, The Craft, The Waterboy) Claudia Black (Farscape, Pitch Black) Kevin Conroy (Batman: The Animated Series, Justice League) Hudson Leick (Xena: Warrior Princess) Kate Mulgrew (Star Trek: Voyager, Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins) Ron Perlman (Hellboy, Enemy at the Gates, Beauty & The Beast) Cree Summer (Rugrats Go Wild!, A Different World) Michael T. Weiss (The Pretender) The series' hardcore following coupled with a new take on the EverQuest universe ensures that this installment will be met with decent sales at the least, and a solid cast of voice actors certainly won't hurt its chances. Players take on the role of the sexy and dangerous female ninja Hibana as she battles legions of demonic foes. These demons enter the world through a rift that has opened between Earth and the demon realm. Unwilling to take such supernatural threats lightly, the Japanese government enlists the talents of Hibana, a skilled kunoichi ("female ninja") with a keen understanding of both martial and mystical arts.
