Koolance HD-40-H06 Liquid CoolerAvailability: Sorry, this item has been discontinued and will no longer be available.1 in stock. Made of anodized aluminum, the hard drive liquid cooler captures heat from the spindle motor and printed circuit boards of IDE, SCSI, & SATA drives. A unique thermal gap filler keeps a flush contact with the device. It can also cool dual hard drives with the Second Hard Drive Kit.Hard Drive Cooler, Mounting Screws, Thermal Interface Material, Metal Hose Clamps. Features & Specifications: Model: HD-40-H06. Tubing Size (ID): 1/4", 6mm Compatibility: The hard drive cooler will mount any 3.5" full or half height drive (SCSI, IDE, or SATA) in a traditional front-back bay configuration. The HD-40-H06 hard drive cooler is 6.3" (16cm) long, which may cause problems with hard drive bays mounted side-side (rotated 90o) since there is little room for the tubing due to the side panel. When the 2nd Hard Drive kit is used-- which allows one Hard Drive Cooler to cool dual drives-- custom mounting holes are required in the chassis. For this reason, the 2nd Hard Drive Kit is only compatible with Koolance PC2 systems, which already have these custom holes. The Exos uses a 3rd-party chassis and so will not work with the 2nd Hard Drive Kit (unless drilling additional holes into the hard drive bay is not a problem). Weight: 13 ounces (425g).
