2 computers..2 case mods
Info:
Both of these case mods I did for the convience of reducing the cable mess behind my computers.
This first mod was done on a pentium 166 which acts as a router for the house. I dont like it in my room as much as I dont like the mess of cables running into the hub laying on the floor. I simply cut a rectangular hole out of the back of my case on the site, and then screwed angle brackets into my hub, then simply screwing it into the inside of the case. It is a pretty sturdy case, which i would recomend for this. The hub is an Encore 9 port 10bt by the way. It sure helps reduse the cable mess.
This second mod is on my main computer. I have a sound card capable of outputting 5.1 channels, and I have a surrond receiver capable of accepting that. The problem is my receiver wants a RCA jack for each channel. I could have a huge mess of adapters and cable behind my computer, but I did all the adaption inside. The RCA jacks come on that plastic plate, which I found at radio shack. I took 2 male to male audio cables(6 feet, though could have used shorter) and cut them in half. I soldered each of the connections to the back of the RCA plate, and ran them out the bottom card slot in my case. I also wired a normal 3.5mm jack for use with my headphones. You can see in the picture the outputs for front left, front right, rear left, rear right, sub, and center, and also left and right inputs for recording(goes to my line in on sound card).
If you have any questions on these mods, please feel free to email me and I will help you out or get you some info.
Thanks for looking
Garrett Kaste.

All modding done is internal so far, no outside stuff just yet but a window and blacklight are on the list but I just got this case.. just modded the internals to be as clean as possible and added 4 Panaflo L1A's and modded the Taisol HS to hold to 60mm fans.. self-rounded IDE and floppy cables sheathed in nylon webbing, etc..
