In Stock: A New Feature

1. If you don't see an in stock quantity in the shopping basket for a particular item, these are the possible reasons: (1) We haven't added that item to the in-stock list yet. (2) That item may not be a stock item, such as notebook batteries and some printers, which are drop-shipped from the vendor/manufacturer directly and we do not control their stock status. (3) That item may be always in stock and it's difficult to keep a quantity for it.
2. The quantity will be automatically adjusted as firm orders are placed for that item. Once the in stock quantity goes to zero or below, you may still order that item. However, please note that chances are high the item may be back ordered and your order may be delayed. You may want to call us to make sure that we have them back in stock if you're in a hurry for the product.
3. If the item you try to order has an quantity less than 10, the relative accuracy of the quantity is significantly lower than when it is over 50. Please use caution when the quantity goes below 3.
4. We also use special notes on item names to indicate the stock status without actually viewing the item or adding it to the shopping basket:
   • *Backorder* indicates that we are placing order with a distributor and may have this item soon. If backorder contains ETA, it means that we are predict to receive that very item around the specified date.
   • *Preorder* indicates that it is a new item and we are placing order with a distributor. If preorder contains ETA, it means that we are predict to receive that very item around the specified date.
   • *SO* indicates that this item is currently sold out. You should check back again for future availability.
   • *DIS* indicates Discontinued. This typically refers to obsolete and discontinued items.
   • "-ds" indicates that this is a drop shipping, non-stock item. Typically shipped in 2-3 business days. Availability is subject to change without notice.
5. The actual availability of a stock item may be subject to change without notice because of the following situations: (1) We may not have enough manpower to keep the quantity data updated. (2) The actual quantity may suddenly be different from the online quantity since the same product may be picked up by local customers who do not place orders online and by other distributors who sometimes exchange products with us.
