Two Intel Generic Heatsink Fasteners Push Pin LocksDo you have an Intel chipset motherboard or a generic Intel heatsink that came with similar push pins? Are they lost, bent, not working? No worries, Directron.com has this hard to find item, buy set of 2 pushpins to replace, to add, to swap, or to have just in case... One would need a set of 4 for a complete set, thus, buy quantity of 2 to receive a complete set of 4.Note: 1) One down side to these types of connectors is that they can wear out after repeated use. We feel that this is somewhat better than the alternative (like screws) because with heatsink screws, you are eating into the heatsink and motherboard. Over time it strips the holes on the motherboard with the heatsink mount screws when you do multiple installs / uninstalls. With these, you just wear out the lock mechanism w/o any damage to your expensive hardware. The fasteners are especially well suited to fan Intel chipset motherboards where heatsinks accept these type of locks. (aa011807) |
