The KC-210TF Gigabit Ethernet media converter series is designed to convert 1000Base-T signal to/from 1000Base-SX signal. It is used to extend the connection distance between two Copper Gigabit Ethernet devices via fiber cable transparently with no performance degradation. The series supports a variety of fiber optic connectors, including duplex multimode and single mode SC and MT-RJ. The KC-210TF series is an ideal solution to connect networks on different floors, separate buildings and to extend distances between servers and workgroups up to a maximum of 15 kilometers (utilizing single mode 1000Base-LX fiber) in a full-duplex networking environment. Model: KC-210M-SXC.
Features:
Comply with 802.3ab 1000Base-T and 802.3z 1000Base-SX, 1000Base-LX standards.
Provide media conversion for TP and Fiber Optic media types.
Extend network span from 500m (multimode fiber SX) upto 15km (single mode LX).
Duplex type auto-negotiation on 1000Base-T TP port.
TP port support auto-crossover function for easy uplink.
Interoperable with other 1000Base-T/SX/LX NICs or Gigabit Ethernet switches.
Provide LEDs for easy network monitoring.
Support a variety of fiber optic connectors, including multimode and single mode duplex SC and MT-RJ connectors.
