(2) How to recognize SDRAM DIMM? Physical length: 5.25". 168 Double-sided metal pins (golden or silver). Most 32MB SDRAM modules have eight chips and are single sided. Occasionally you may come across double sided with four chips on each side. Most 64MB modules have 16 chips and are double sided (8 chips on each side). Most 128MB modules have eight chips and are single sided. (3) Standard desk-top memory modules are non-ECC (error correction), non-registered, and non-buffered memory modules.
