*Used* Hard Drive Mounting Kit*This item is not in brand-new condition, some may exhibit minor physical blemishes.Allow us to recommend another a more beautiful solution: See here This metal kit will help you mount a 3.5" hard disk drive in a 5.25" bay. Includes 2 metal frames (brackets) that also help dissipating heat off the hard drive. In individual plastic bags. Life-time warranty. Use this kit when you run out of the internal 3.5" bays or if you want more space between hard drives to keep them cool. Compatibility: Works with most computer cases including major systems such as Compaq, Dell, Gateway, IBM, HP, eMachines, NEC, Packard-Bell, and AST. Notes: (1) Mounting screws are optional for this item. (2) A 3.5" drive does not measure as 3.5" wide. It actually measures 4". 3.5" is the size for the floppy diskette. The same is true for 5.25". Remember the old 5.25" floppy diskette? It measures 5.25".
