Want to dress up your boring powersupply and give it a little style? For only $25 + parts we can: 1) wrap all your power supply cabling with attractive cable sleeving, 2) Replace the fan grills on one or more Fans in the unit to stylish Laser Cut, Stamped, or other special ones, and/or 3) Replace the fan in the power supply unit with one of your choosing -- allowing you to decrease the noise level or add lighting effects. Separate parts must be chosen as options underneath this item in order to be included in this service.

How to order: Select the right option(s) on this item. Place this item in the shopping basket along with your new power supply / case with powersupply and place an order. Once you have an order confirmed with an order number, we'll do the services you reqested on this page: mount the fan, install fan grill(s) or sleeving before shipping. Please allow 1-5 business days per powersupply to complete the job, depending on our work load.

This service is available for most power supplies including ATX, micro ATX and most brands including Antec, Enermax, Thermaltake. You have a choice of case fan styles and models, fan grill designs, and the color of sleeving.

Fan Replacement: There are two main purposes in replacing the factory fans inside a power supply. One is to add lights to the power supply for the look. For this purpose, you'll need to choose a lighted fan. The second one is to replace noisy fans with relatively quieter ones such as Panaflow models. We will actually open the power supply, remove the existing fan and install the new fan. You must choose a fan from the option list in order to receive this service. You can also choose a fan separately from our large selection of case fans. If you are not sure what fan size to use, check the specs on the power supply page.

Fan Grill Replacement: Almost all power supplies come with the boring chromed wire fan grills. Most designer and custom fan grills do not fit inside a power supply either because of the thickness or the size. We use the ultra-thin copper fan grills, which for the first time makes the changing out of fan grills on power supplies available to the masses. Custom fan grills would work especially well together with lighted fans. Choose the fan grill size carefully. Most power suppplies use 8cm and 12cm fans and grills. Sometimes 7cm ones are used. As shown in the above picture, a power supply may look very different once a custom fan grill is installed. You can choose designs to fit your taste. Popular designs include biohazard, atomic energy, alien head, spider web, flames, etc. You must choose a fan grill option in order to receive this service.

Cable Sleeving: The traditional cables for a power supply are too plain to look at. Once covered with sleeves, they would appear so much more attractive. This is especially true if you have a side window and some inside lights to show off the inside of your beloved PC. We have several neon-fluoresent sleeve colors for you to choose from. You must include the sleeve color choice from the drop-down menu in order to receive this service.

Notes: (1) No return for refund once this process is complete. The power supply is still under our warranty after these custom jobs though which is 1 year unless otherwise noted on the product page. Jobs like this completed by customers themselves would typically void the warranty. (2) Sorry but we can not change the size of the fans in the power supply you have we can only replace a fan with one of equal size -- for example if you purchase a power supply with 1 80mm fan in it, and 1 92mm fan in it, we can't change the unit to use one 120mm. We can only replace a fan with another fan of equal size. (3) If there is a fan or grill that you would like to use that isn't listed on the options on this page, feel free to add the grill or fan seperately to your shopping cart and leave us a note explaining what you want done by using the comment box on the second page of checking (right above the place you enter payment information). (4) If you already have a power supply, you can bring or ship it in to us. We'll send the power supply back to you after we finish the modding. (5) Unless specified, we'll keep the left-over fans and grills from the change over. (6) The actual size of a fan grill may vary from one design to the other. The fan grill may have some exposed portion on the top and bottom of the power supply. This would still fit on most cases since most cases allow some room on the top and the bottom of the power supply; however, it may cause some problems to some cases. If you are going to mount the power supply to an existing case, you may want to let us know which case you'll use it for so that we can double check it for you. The worst would be that you'll have to file off a small portion of the fan grill from the top and/or bottom of the power supply. (7) The basic price includes the replacement of only one fan or the mounting of only one fan grill. Extra charge shall be added for the second fan or fan grill. (8) The basic charge remains the same if you want only to replace a fan but not the other services.
