In essence it is a fully revamped version of the Microsoft Ergonomic Natural Pro with better multimedia keys and a blue accent. It also has an interesting key called F LOCK that allows you to switch the function keys on the keyboard to become programmable short cut keys. This means that you can have nearly twice as many dedicated hot keys as a standard multimedia type keyboard. If you like ergonomic split keyboards then the Microsoft Natural MultiMedia brings some great features to the table that you'll appreciate. Features: MultiMedia Center: Just press a button to start your favorite media program, navigate music and video clips, or pump up the volume. It's the easy way to enjoy your multimedia experience. Enhanced Function Keys: Simplified F key commands give you access to common tasks, such as New, Open, Close (documents), Reply, Forward, or Send (e-mail). You can also use the standard F key commands or press F LOCK key to toggle between the standard and enhanced commands for even more flexibility. Ergonomic Design: The split, gently sloped shape encourages a natural hand, wrist, and forearm position, providing the comfort you want. Hot Keys: These special shortcut keys are smartly grouped by command and provide quick, one-press access to frequently-used programs. You can browse the Web, start e-mail, open My Computer - and more all with the touch of a button. Using Hot Keys can increase your productivity because you don't have to take your hand off the keyboard as frequently, to use a mouse, for example. More Customizable Keys: Using IntelliType Pro keyboard software (not included), you can reassign many of the keys-including the Hot Keys- to open a file or webpage, or to perform a command, such as Find or Print. Integrated Palm Rest: The built-in Palm rest and adjustable keyboard legs help you work in comfort. Sleep & Log off Hot Keys: Put your computer into 'sleep' mode (such as suspend, standby, or hibernation). *Right from your desktop, protecting your data and saving energy. The Log Off Hot Key lets you log off Windows with the press of a button.
