KTI NC-300D-C Series Media ConverterThe NC-300D Fast Ethernet media converter series is designed to convert 100Base-TX single to/from 100Base-FX signal. It's used to extend the connection distance between two Fast Ethernet devices via fiber cable transparently with no performance degradation. The series supports a variety of fiber optic connectors, including duplex ST, SC and MT-RJ, VF-45. The NC-300D series is an ideal solution to connect networks on different floors, separate buildings and to extend distances between servers and workgroups up to a maximum of 50 kilometers in a full-duplex networking environment.Features: Comply with 802.3u 100Base-TX and 100Base-FX standards, Provide media conversion for TP and Fiber Optic media Types, Extend network span from 2km (multimode fiber) up to 50km (single mode), Auto-negotiation on 100Base-TX TP Port, Provide a push button to set the crossover function for the TP port, Interoperable with other 100Base-TX/FX NICs, Hubs or Switches, Provide LEDs for easy network monitoring, Support a variety of fiber optic connectors, including multimode and single mode, duplex ST, SC, MT-RJ and multimode VF-45 connectors.
