NVIDIA TurboCache technology shares the capacity and bandwidth of dedicated video memory and dynamically available system memory for turbocarged erformance and larger total graphics memory. TurboCache technology is a patented hardware and software technology that enables direct rendering to system memory, reducing the local frame buffer equirements to deliver graphics and system performance that exceeds traditional discrete graphics solutions. For example, instead of having 256MB of local emory, TurboCache delivers effective 256MB memory using only 64MB of local memory.
