Houston's first Internet Business Park

HOUSTON, TX - The concept of business park has been around for a long time. However, the idea of Internet Business Park (IBP) is still quite new. No, an Internet business park is not simply an office building with fast Internet access. Today's Internet means much more than a website and broadband. It means e-marketing, e-commerce, e-communication, and e-business optimization. For any conventional businesses, such as CPA, attorney, sign company, music instrument seller, insurance agent, and art studio, to be successful on the Net, it will require Internet business knowledge, experience, and tools. That's what the new Internet Business Park offers.

As the co-founders are purchasing a 38,000 square feet office building as a rental property, they want to put their IT expertise and know-how to use to benefit other businesses. Therefore, the idea of an "Internet Business Park" was born. To their best knowledge, there have not been properties based such a concept in Houston and even perhaps Texas.
Internet has been around for many years. Unfortunately, many conventional businesses have not been able to take advantages of it because they do not know what to do beyond opening up their websites. They assumed that business would follow once they had the website - much the same way as they expect from their yellow-page advertisement.
