Custom Paint Job On Drive BezelLeave the Dirty Job to Us!Have a drive that does not match the color of your case? No problem. We'll paint the drive bezel for you! You don't have to worry about the paint mess or the smell. It costs only $14 for one bezel and $24 for two bezels. You can place this item to the shopping basket and place an order. Once you have an order confirmed with an order number, send the bezel to Directron.com with a copy of your order. We'll paint the bezel once we receive it and ship it back afterwards. If you don't know how to remove a bezel off a drive, you can also ship the entire drive to us. Make sure you pack your drive or bezel well. Directron.com is not responsible for shipping damages. Customers are responsible for both the service charge and the return shipping. Please allow 1-2 weeks for the paint job. This service is available for all kinds of drives including floppy, DVD, CD-ROM, CD-RW, zip, Digital Doc 5, and tape drives. This service is also available for drives that we sell as an option. The cost of painting our existing drives you purchase is only $8.00. Specs: We clean the bezels and then spray paint the front bezel. We have perfected the technology with satisfactory results. Color Choices: Currently only five colors are available: black, silver, yellow, red, and blue. We're working on bringing other colors. Help Desk: | Q & A on "Paint" | Case Mod Forum | Notes: (1) The quality of a paint job is not as good as the original color from injection molding. However, the painting process is much more flexible and cost effective. It works on virtually any drive. Injection molding has a very high initial cost and only works with certain product brands. (2) The paint will not be scratch resistant to sharp objects, please keep sharp objects from contacting the paint. (3) Only 60-day warranty is given on the paint. (4) Please allow 1-2 weeks for this work. (5) We do not guarantee the color of the paint will match perfectly to that of your case. The black color we use is similar to a "stealth" black not charcoal black. (6) If you supplied the bezel and you are not satisfied with the paint job, we cannot replace the bezel for any reason once painted. We will re-paint the bezel to your satisfaction only once. (7) For the optimum results, we do recommend painting only on light-colored bezels such as beige or white. (8) Drives with colors different from the cases are appreciated by some people for some special effects. For instance, a red or yellow drive goes well with some black cases. (9) The Blue, Red, and Yellow colors we now offer do not match those Chieftec color cases. They are the typical blue, red, and yellow colors.
