Rather than using an add-on graphics card, the Pegasus ADD2 cards interface with the on-board graphics chipsets via the standard x16 PCI Express socket allowing for high-end graphical connections at a fraction of the cost of comparatively equipped video cards.This ADD2 display adapter card provides an ideal low-cost, low-power and low-noise DVI output solution. Notes: 1) ADD2 Cards add functionality to your existing onboard video chipset, as such they will not work in any system that does not already have onboard video. Specifically, ADD2 cards are designed to be used only with boards with the following Intel chipsets [with onboard graphics]: Intel G35, G33, G31, G965, Q965, Q963, 946GZ, 915G or 945G Express Chipset. 2) These cards are known to work in Intel branded motherboards with the afforementioned chipsets. For motherboards of different brands but with the proper chipset, these cards will probably work but it is not guaranteed. 3) The DVI-I on this card can not be converted to VGA, a DVI->VGA adapter will not work. Please note that using the ADD2 card for DVI does not disable the onboard VGA. It is perfectly valid to do dual display with one monitor being hooked up standard VGA on the motherboard and the other via DVI on the ADD2 card. 4) This card comes with a low profile bracket as well as a standard height bracket.
