It updates its time automatically from the u.s. Bureau of standards in boulder, colorado so you are assured of accurate and reliable time. Features such as an automatic tuning system that scans and programs your presets automatically for all your local radio stations depending on signal strength of stations. The synchronized analog clock allows for quick reading. In addition the RCR-3 has the ability to set four different alarm times throughout the week. Allowing different time settings on a daily basis for being awaken by radio or buzzer. This could mean no more forgetting to turn on the alarm sunday, and not getting bothered by alarms on saturday. Additional features include: sleep timer (15-120 minutes), snooze, dimmer, a dual time hws humane waking system to gently ease you out of your slumber. There is also a tone control and a headphone jack. The 3 by 4 inch speaker delivers pleasant sound from the 800 mw amplifier.
