Computer Recycling at Houston Texas

As a community service, we offer computer recycling services in the Greater Houston area. If you have old computer equipment that you want to get rid of, we can help. We'll accept certain types of computer equipment and try to recycle most of the parts to save the landfills and the environment. We accept computers, laptops, servers, monitors and some pheripherals. Most of these products have circuit boards that may contain toxic materials. Proper disposal of these materials is important to our environment. We'll try to recycle, reuse, or refurbish as many parts as possible.

Please email sunny @ directron.us first with details of your computer products such as quantity, types of equipment, conditions (whether working or not), specs, age, etc. before making arrangement to drop them off. We shall email you back to tell you whether we can recycle such equipment or not. If the quantity is large enough, we may visit your site first. Once we agree, you can drop off the computers to our warehouse (left side entry) at a scheduled date/time that's convenient to you.

If the used equipment is of re-sale value and the quantity is high, we may consider making an offer to or even purchase/buy them from you. In that case, we may negotiate a way to pick these up.

Sorry, we do not normally pick up small quantities of used computer equipment unless the extra service is paid or if the equipment is of special values that we intend to purchase.

If requested, we can provide a receipt for the goods that the equipment is recycled for tax purposes.

Sorry, we currently do not accept: Systems older than pentium (such as 286, 386 and 486), copy machines, fax machines, printers, and audio equipment.

We are located at 10402 Harwin Drive, Houston, TX 77036. We have a 100,000 square feet warehouse space. When you drop off recycled items, please enter to the left-side gate and park on the loading zone of the first ramp on Garage Door #2.

Give us details about the product you have, the problem and symptoms, and your contact info. Again, you do not need to call or email us before you come to drop off your computer IF you have read and understood instructions and notes on this page carefully.

Our location is close to the following geographic areas: City of Houston, Bellaire, West University, Sugar Land, Pearland, Clear Lake, Woodlands, Humble, Katy, Pasadena, Tomball, Waller, Spring, Dayton, Huffman, Alief, Spring Branch, Clear Creek, Goose Creek, La Port, Deer Park, Spring Valley, Bunker Hill Village, Highland Heights, Jeanetta, Meyerland, Meadows, Bellaire West, Stafford, Jersey Village, Aldine, Beaumont, Channelview, Jacinto City, Galena Park, South Houston, Mount Houston, Victoria, Richmond, Rosenberg, CyFair, Harris County, Fort Bend County, Brazoria County, Chambers County, Liberty County, Galveston County, Waller County, Montgomery County, San Jacinto County, and Wharton County.

Some additional rules:

A. Consumers do not have to pay any fees at the time of recycling to recycle used computer equipment made by Directron.com. Fees are not required for most other brands; but they may be required if labor is involved in removing the computers.

B. Directron.com provides for the collection from a consumer of any used computer equipment at our site.

C. Directron.com provides for the recycling or reuse of used computer equipment not purchased from us.

D. Directron.com provides for the collection of computer equipment that is reasonably convenient and available to consumers in this state, and designed to meet the collection needs of consumers in this state.

E. Directron.com may sell the following brands of computers, depending on customer requests: Directron.com, Prime Systems, Lenovo, Dell, HP, Acer, Gateway, Toshiba, Sony, Panasonic, Fujitsu, Asus, Shuttle, Gigabyte, and MSI. Only Directron.com brand is assembled by Directron.com.

F. Consumers can drop off/return used computer equipment for recycling at 10402 Harwin Drive, Houston, TX 77036.

G. For products purchased from Directron.com and if dropping off is not convenient to you, we can pay the inbound shipping with pre-paid shipping labels for you to send the recycled equipment back to us via carriers. In this case, email sunny @ directron.us for more details.
