The 2.4GHz ISM RF Digital Radio technology allows this RF-6572 to stay connected within 15m., 49ft. radius. The 2.4GHz wireless communication link operates in the 2400 - 2483 MHz frequency band available unlicensed worldwide for Industrial, Scientific and Medical (ISM) applications.Other advantage for the RF-6572 is its power consumption. Everyone knows how important it is to protect the environment, so does I-Rocks! I-Rocks' engineers spent months to research how to reduce power consuming for I-Rocks' wireless products while still allow them to run at their full performance. For example, the 2.4GHz wireless keyboard of RF-6572 is able to function with only 2 AA batteries up to 12 months with average 4 hours a day. Meanwhile, the 2.4GHz wireless 5-button mouse is able to function with only one AA battery up to 6 months with average 4 hours a day.
