Sabrent IDE Ultra ATA-100/133 to SATA Mini Converter, Model: SBT-SCIDEThis Ultra ATA-133 to SATA Converter Board is a converter solution for the Parallel Ultra ATA Device. It has a standard 40 pin ATA port can interface to a parallel Ultra ATA (IDE) devices (hard disk, CDROM, etc). It accepts PATA commands through the PATA interface from the host, decodes the commands and converts them to SATA commands to the device. Response from the device through the SATA bus are deciphered, processed and converted to PATA protocol and sent to the host.This Ultra ATA-133 to SATA Converter Board supports the Serial ATA Generation 1 transfer rate of 1.5 Gb/s (150 MB/s) on the serial side and is compatible with Ultra ATA-133 on the parallel ATA side.
