SMC TigerStack 1000 Stackable 48-Port 10/100/1000 Managed Layer 3 Switch SMC8748ML3, w/ 4 Gigabit Combo Ports & 10G UplinkSMC Networks' TigerStack 1000 SMC8748ML3 delivers high scalability, wire-speed Gigabit performance, high availability, 10 Gigabit Ethernet uplinks, and redundant power options. It stacks up to 8 units, providing up to 384 Gigabit ports. A stack can be created with either the SMC8724ML3 or the SMC8748ML3, providing unprecedented flexibility. It provides 48 built-in copper Gigabit ports, including (4) Combo SFP ports supporting either copper links or SFP adapters for easy, flexible connection to fiber-based Gigabit media. The SMC8748ML3 features a variety of network management options and supports a variety of advanced traffic management options. Exclusive SIM technology allows up to 32 units of SMC Networks switches to be managed under a single IP, regardless of it's physical environment. The switch provides a robust and consistent set of QoS/CoS, VLAN, and security features.
