SMC Smart EZ Switch 16-Port 10/100/1000 Gigabit Web-managed Smart Switch, Smart Web Management, Flexible QoS, Model: SMCGS16-SmartSMC Networks' EZSwitch 10/100/1000 (SMCGS16-Smart) is a 16 port gigabit smart switch that brings the speed of gigabit copper to the desktop combined with user friendly web based configuration. SMCGS16-Smart provides a flexible web based management interface to enable the configuration of port settings, QoS, link aggregation and VLAN's. These features allow traditionally unmanaged networks to increase throughput and security which is becoming critical in next generation networks. Ideal for users looking to migrate from unmanaged to managed networks, this Smart switch is easy to install and provides 10 times the throughput than 100M switches. Nowadays notebook and desktop computers are being configured with 1000BASE-T Ethernet ports.
