Spring System 8 is a little different than other specials - It is designed for the user who wants a decent upgrade path on the AM2+ platform but wants a system right away and at a good price. Spring Special 8 uses a fast AMD Phenom II 555 X2 CPU, arguably one of the best dual core CPUs you can buy. The CPU is paired with 4GB of fast DDR2 800 memory and can be later expanded to 8GB or more. For video, the machine uses a fairly decent Radeon HD3300 onboard video chip with 128MB of dedicated SidePort Memory and DVI, VGA and HDMI ports capable of dual video without adding an additional video card. Where the PC really shines is it's support for video upgrades. The PC features full Hybrid Crossfire and CrossFireX support. Add in a Radeon 3450/3470 video card and you can unlock Hybrid Crossfire and get fair light gaming performance on a shoe-string budget. Need Quad Monitor support? Add in 2 video cards into the dual PCI-E 16X slots in the PC and you can do quad monitor.
