Window Molding with Locking StripWindow rubber molding with locking strip. This molding is sold with our window kits, but if you want to design a special shape, say an amoeba or other rounded shape, then you need DIY materials. OEM bulk pack. Also called locking gaskets, two-piece weather seal and edge trims.This molding is high quality industrial grade molding used in our regular window kits. It is available in custom cut lengths (per foot) so that you can undertake a project as large or small as you desire. Locking Gaskets are rubber extrusions designed to "lock" the installation of stationary windows or windshields. These gaskets provide a secure seal between metal or fiberglass body panels and glass or Plexiglas windows. Specifications: Double-sided molding include locking strip that goes on the inside of the case to insure security. Outside Measurement: 1/16 inch opening for the case metal. Inside Measurement: 1/8 inch opening for the acrylic window. A locking strip is included to assist you in achieving a proper fit. Price: $2.99 per foot. We'll ship you a continuous length if you order more than one foot so that you can cut it yourself. Color Availability: Black or clear color. No matter what color your case is, translucent molding will make your window look better because the case color will show through. So if you have a blue case, beige case, or brushed aluminum case the translucent molding provides a good transition from clear acrylic to metal by fusing the two colors together. Availability: Sorry, Clear color ones are sold out. No ETA. Note: (1) Molding cannot be installed in square corners without cutting it. The corners of the window must be rounded no steeper than 2.75 inches to maintain a flat profile. (2) The locking strip is not shown in the above picture, but is included in the price for the same length.
