Work, learn, enjoy! Join our friendly team and earn during the big break from studies. Make new friends and acquire new skills. Each summer we hire numerous workers and interns. Now we started to accept job applications for the Summer Seasonal Employee 2009 Program. Jobs include duties such as loading, unloading, setting up, assembling, testing, and configuring computers, laptops, printers, and other computer related electronics. There are two types of jobs: delivery team and assembly team. Delivery team delivers and configures computers at customer sites, mostly school districts. Assembly team assembles computers together in our facility. Some physical work is involved in both. Computer hardware background is highly desired although generally not required, a basic training will be provided.
Returned workers are particularly welcome.
Preference will be given to those who can work continuously throughout summer from late May to late August, although part timers will be considered depending on the work load and number of workers available at the time. Students are encouraged to apply. If you have a time period during the summer when you are not available, please notify us right away. We prefer college-age workers but high school seniors will be also considered. Must have your own dependable transportation to work, although you may consider to carpool with other workers. Those who can work with us after the summer on a part time basis are especially welcome.
The
job location is in Houston, Texas. Work hours are 7-4 with a lunch break. The hours are more flexible for assembling computer teams but is strict for delivering teams. Compensation depends on experience, skills, and pay history. Interview will be conducted throughout the month of May.
