Have Us Test the Product Before Shipping!Like everything else in life, computer parts are not perfect. There are always some defective ones despite the fact that Directron.com is very careful in selecting the manufacturers and vendors. Almost all products are shipped without us opening the package. To minimize the chances for dead-on-arrival (DOA), you may have us test the parts before shipping. Your cost is $15 or 10% of the item cost, which ever is higher, for up to two items. If you have more than five items for testing before shipping, please add this option item twice or accordingly. The testing fee is not refundable. Please allow one business-day delay before shipping for testing. Benefits: (1) You avoid the hassle and consequences of DOA. If this option is paid before shipping, we guarantee no DOA for 30 days after you receive the product. (2) We'll pay for the return shipping for the defective product if it becomes defective in 30 days. Normally customers are responsible for returning defective products including DOA. With this option, you may save the return shipping. Exceptions and Rules: Paid testing does not guarantee the item to work in all situations since it may not address some specific issues such as hardware and software compatibility. This option is not necessary for systems since system prices already include testing. To test motherboards, hard drives and some other products, we must open the original packages. The testing covers only manufacturer's defect and it does NOT cover damage due to shipping or user error. The no-DOA guarantee is effective only for 30 days after you receive the product, since no testing can prevent or predict long-term problems under normal "wear-and-tear." Notes: (1) We now offer $15 testing for each motherboards, $12 for hard drives, and $9 for power supplies. You can add the testing as an option when you add the items to your shopping basket. (2) Testing may slow your order by one day or so. | ||||||
