Transfer Rates of Various PC Interfaces

Compare the transfer/BUS rates of different interfaces to help you select the best device. Please note the actual speed of a device depends on the interface transfer rate, the access rate of that device, and the work load on that device. For instance, a dot-matrix printer will always be slower than a laser printer even though you put the dot-matrix printer on a faster USB port.
