With the Vantec Vortex HDCS (Hard Drive Cooling System), you can help ensure the dependability of your crucial data. The Vortex dampens the vibration caused by the rapidly spinning motors in the hard drive, reducing noise and shock. It also provides an LED readout to display the temperature of your hard drive in celsius or fahrenheit. Most importantly, with its adjustable crossflow blower, the Vantec Vortex can lower the temperature of your hard drive by up to 40%. Compatible with any 3.5" hard drive, including Serial ATA, IDE, and SCSI, the Vantec Vortex increases system stability and protects your data. Features: Lower your hard drive temperature by up to 40%. Unique mounting design to dampen hard drive vibration. Special design crossflow blower for superior airflow. Adjustable fan speed (High, Low, OFF). Temperature display in oC / oF. Replaceable filters to reduce dust build up. Compatible with all 3.5" hard drive. Fits in a standard 5.25" drive bay.
