This device is a complete RAID solution through the use of two 2.5" SATA SSDs and/or HDDs mounted on one standard 3.5" form factor drive cage.It can be used as two separate drives (Normal), as a redundant drive to protect against drive failure (RAID 1), as combined to become one high-performance drive (RAID 0) or as combined to become one large drive (JBOD). By utilizing the hardware DIP switch on the back of the unit, all these different RAID configurations can be set in an instant. Rigged with the creative front of two multifunctional doors, including safety locks to avoid misusage of the hard drives when in use, this RAID enclosure is a perfect product for any average or advanced computer users, enabling tool-less installation of two 2.5" SSDs. Revolutionizing the general usage of 2.5" SSDs, this enclosure fits exactly into a common 3.5" desktop bay or floppy disk bay without having to purchase any attachments to mount 2.5" drives into it.
